Title 24 Compliance Calculations: Our service provides Title 24 energy compliance reports for projects located anywhere in California. Our CEPE certified analysts would first review your proposed building design then perform an energy calculation to demonstrate compliance with the standards. You will receive all the documents necessary for your project including the CF-1R and MF-1R forms.
HERS Ratings & Verifications: The HERS rater is certified by an Energy Commission-approved HERS provider CalCerts to perform the field verification and diagnostic testing that may be required to demonstrate and document compliance with the Standards.
Air & Water Balance Testing: Through the use of specialized test instruments the temperature, pressure, RPM, amps, CFM, and velocity of a delivery system are measured. This ensures that the air, and/or water in a hydronic system meet the specific flow requirements for each part of the system. This enables the system operate at peak efficiency.
Commissioning: The Commissioning Process defines commissioning as "a quality-oriented process for achieving, verifying, and documenting that the performance of facilities, systems, and assemblies meets defined objectives and criteria.” Commissioning is an all-inclusive process for all the planning, delivery, verification, and managing risks to critical functions performed in, or by, facilities. Commissioning ensures building quality using peer review and in-field or on-site verification. Commissioning also accomplishes higher energy efficiency, environmental health, and occupant safety and improves indoor air quality by making sure the building components are working correctly and that the plans are implemented with the greatest efficiency. Commissioning is a quality assurance-based process that delivers preventive and predictive maintenance plans, tailored operating manuals and training procedures for all users to follow. Essentially, the commissioning process formalizes review and integration of all project expectations during planning, design, construction, and occupancy phases by inspection and functional performance testing, and oversight of operator training and record documentation. |
