Dr  Stephen Adebowale Williams was born in Lagos, Nigeria and earned his qualifying medical degrees as a physician from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos [1989]. He completed his residency in pediatrics at Nassau County Medical Center in New York in 1996 and has practiced as a consultant pediatrician at his clinic at Tampa, Florida.

He has a passion for serving the underprivileged  children without health insurance and poor or inadequate access to social services. Dr Williams is a citizen of the world and brings his 20 years of experience and knowlege to VIPMEDIKA where our singular focus is on providing unparalled preventive health care for the West Afrikan family visiting the United States.

He imbibes the old axiom that 'the rising tide lifts all boats' which is especially relevant and applicable to West Africa where our extended families depend on each other and especially the bread winners. When we care for the visiting African family to the US, by direct extension the health and socio-economic benefits has a 'trickle down' effect to communities, cities and villages across West Afrika.

He is happily married with children. His hobbies include travelling, long distance running.
